Bentonville Fresh 48 Photograph Session
There’s something uniquely magical about capturing a baby’s first day in the world, and little Tharren’s Fresh 48 session was no exception. I had the honor of photographing him just six hours after he made his debut, and let me tell you—this tiny guy wasted no time leaving a big impression.
Tharren’s mama, Hailey, booked a Fresh 48 Mini as part of her bundle just a few short weeks before his due date. She had recently been put on bed rest for high blood pressure—one of those scary kinds where you don’t actually feel sick, even though things are anything but fine. She wasn’t sure if she’d be on a magnesium drip after delivery, so she chose to skip being in the photos herself. Totally valid, and honestly, the focus was all on sweet baby Tharren anyway!
When I arrived at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, I was met with the coziest little scene. Tharren was snuggled up on a beautiful forest green name blanket—his name still a surprise to family and friends. He made it known right away that he was not a fan of being undressed (at all!), but once he was buttoned up in his sleeper and wrapped in warmth, he was content as could be.
His tiny fists balled up beside his face, a few curious peeks at the camera, and the occasional sleepy smile—he gave me everything I needed for a perfect newborn session.
Hailey shared that family photography wasn’t something she had growing up, and it’s something she deeply wants to prioritize for her own family. That intention alone made this session extra special. Tharren is already so loved, and it was a joy to help preserve the very beginning of his story.
Welcome to the world, Tharren. You are already the calm in the chaos, and your first gallery is one for the books. 💚
